How Our Shipping Works
We put care and effort into our shipping practices. We generally ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each week. If your order contains shrimp and plants, we sometimes ship later in the week as well considering how well they do in the mail for longer lengths of time. For shrimp and/or plant orders, we ship via USPS Priority 1-3 day with tracking. If your order contains fish, we ship UPS 2nd Day Air, with the option to upgrade to UPS Next Day Air on all orders. If you’re in Florida, we ship UPS Ground, as it is overnight shipping to anywhere in the state. Shipping methods and rates are automatically calculated at check out, and prices will fluctuate depending on your location in relation to us!
To ensure live arrival, If the temperatures in your area are colder than 32 degrees, or warmer than 95 degrees, we may delay shipping until we have a safer window. This is decided on a case-by-case basis, and you will receive an email from us if we decide to hold off on shipping for the safety of your new shrimp, fish, or plants!
Live Arrival Guarantee
In the rare event of a DOA, we will replace the effected livestock or plants and reship FOR FREE. We stand behind our livestock, plants, and shipping methods, so we do not require you to re-pay shipping (like most sellers in this industry). It rarely happens, but if it does, please send clear photos of the effected plants or animals in their shipping bags within 2 hours of the first delivery attempt to firstname.lastname@example.org.
