Hey guys, Daku here! I am an aquarium enthusiast from South Florida with a focus on breeding freshwater fish and shrimp. All my livestock is homebred by me here in 100+ tank fish and shrimp rooms! I also grow and provide a wide variety of aquatic plants, some of which are sourced locally from an aquatic plant nursery, and Bucephalandra which I import directly from farms in Indonesia!

We have tried to answer all the most common questions here. If your question isn’t answered, or you need clarification, please send a message via our live chat, or send an email to info@dakuaquatics.com.

We ship plants, shrimp, and dry goods Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday every week. We only ship fish on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to avoid potential weekend delays

For shrimp and/or plant orders, we ship via USPS Priority 1-3 day with tracking. If your order contains fish, we ship UPS 2nd Day Air, with the option to upgrade to UPS Next Day Air. If you’re in Florida, we ship UPS Ground, as it is overnight shipping to anywhere in the state. Shipping methods and rates are automatically calculated at check out, and prices will fluctuate depending on your location in relation to us!

In the rare event of a DOA, we will replace the effected livestock or plants and reship FOR FREE. We stand behind our livestock, plants, and shipping methods, so we do not require you to re-pay shipping (like MOST sellers in this industry). It rarely happens, but if it does, please send clear photos of the effected plants or animals in their shipping bags within 2 hours of the first delivery attempt to info@dakuaquatics.com.
